Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your order! Because we work with multiple vendors, our return policy varies by product type.
Graphic Tees/Shirts All graphic items are made to order, so we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for sizing issues or change of mind. However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrectly printed, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and your order number. We'll make it right with a replacement or refund.
Fashion & Apparel Items For eligible items, returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached. Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of delivery (the return window begins the day tracking shows delivered) and shipped back within 7 days of submission to qualify for a full refund.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a shipping error or damaged item. Please allow 5–7 business days from receipt of your return for processing. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been handled.
Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items The following categories are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

- Bodysuits
- Face masks
- Intimates/Lingerie
- Jewelry
- Swimwear
How to Start a Return Email us at shoptheruralboutique@gmail.com or use our contact form with your order number and reason for return. We'll respond within 1–2 business days with next steps.
Shipping Costs Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
